Firstly fill out the
application form
which includes information about who you are, your
preferences in dining and and the type of person you would
like to meet. We also need
a photo of you, for our records only

When we receive your application we will contact you and
make a time for an interview so we can get to know you
personally. All information you tell us is strictly
confidential and is not discussed with any other member.

during normal business hours or leave a message.
At the interview we will usually organise a date for your
first dinner, and discuss with you how the dinners work and
answer any questions you may have.
Joining fees are paid at the
interview
The
Dinners
Dinners are arranged and are held on a Saturday night at comfortable
local Restaurants in Geelong. Restaurants such as the
Black Sheep and the Sailors Rest are good examples.
When you
would like a dinner arranged just fill out the
bookings
form and we will contact you with all your dining
details. The Restaurant will not be booked in the
After Eight Dining name. Bookings made a week or so
ahead of time usually
ensures your dinner will be on that night.
That
Night
You will find that the dinners are very friendly.
Remember that everyone else there is in the same position as
yourself, single, so there is no reason to feel self
conscious, just be yourself.
You are
out at dinner to enjoy yourself and meet new people, to
start a new life. Make this night a night free from
talking about any baggage you may have. Leave all your
baggage and problems at home and you will have a very
enjoyable night.
Each
person pays for their own meal and drinks.
The
Next Day
If there is someone that you would like to meet again
you can exchange details at the dinner if you wish, or just
let us know on the
approach form and we will contact that person
on your behalf and a ask them if it is OK to pass their
phone number on to you, or would they like to ring you.
We
encourage people to keep in contact with each other.
It is nice to have some other single friends that you can go
out with. You can never have too many friends.
